CHICKEN COOPS & DIESEL TRUCKS?

04|16|19

Pinkelman Truck & Trailer scored a big success with Terry Loder Creative’s ”Get Your Diesel Runnin” jingle. Then followed that success with “Chicken Coop” a 60 second spot introducing their new Ford F150 service truck. We built the spot around a driver whose brakes had failed….. real close to a chicken coop! Wanna hear it? We just added it to our Radio section. Is it working?

Well the radio and TV have kept them so busy, a new facility is now on the drawing board. Board? Oh yeah we did a great new billboard (ahem.. outdoor) design for Luke and Amber too. They may wait until the new place is up and runnin’… like a Diesel.

THE QUAD CITIES’ PROLIFIC JINGLE MAKER

When you hear Courtesy Car City’s familiar “Whatever it Takes, We’ll Do it!” or “The Great Mississippi Valley Fair” you may sing right along with; “See ya there!” (it’s not actually part of the original recording).

The same goes for Rock Valley Physical Therapy, – Making Better Lives, Mel Foster – Making it Happen and Key Auto Mall’s We’re the Best of em All. There are a couple hundred others. Too many to list here.

These musical memes have a common thread; Terry Loder.

If you’re like most Quad Citizens, you never knew all these musical signatures were the work of a local music maker. The list is much too long to list here. But the most common reaction to their local roots is “Man, I thought those were made in Chicago, New York, Minneapolis or LA.” Nope: Terry is QCA all the way.

You can hear his work for Arnold Motor Supply – We Keep You Movin, US Adventure RV – Runnin’ Free; Monson Truck & Trailer – Let Monson Get You Runnin’, Tempo Marine and Sport – We’re All About Fun and many more.

You’ll find more of Terry’s most recent local and national productions under Jingles on this web site. Stronger branding is our goal. Especially the musical ones you can’t get out of your head.

WHAT’S IN A NAME? EVERYTHING

Almost two decades have passed since Terry wrote and recorded “We Can Do That” for Midland Communications in Davenport. That signature slogan and music was expanded to include an On-Hold message program, radio and a series of strong TV spots.

By 2017, Midland evolved in a big way. Their technology services and video department made it clear that, a new name was in order. So, “Communications” has been dropped after a 50 year run.

Midland VP, Jason Smith asked TLC to develop marketing tools that reflect the dropping of “Communications” replacing it with “Technologies”

Visit our radio samples department for Midland Technologies’ first radio spot: “Technology Drives Us”. Jeff Loder mixed this amazing audio with TLC’s new audio processing equipment. It’s a dramatic upgrade. Now, there will be 2 more spots, on hold program and auto attendant projects will feature the new name and sig.
