DHCU STANDS COMPETITION ON THEIR HEADS WITH TLC

04|13|14

DHCU’s new Chief Experience Officer, Steve Ducey, wanted something different. Their community credit union is definitely unique in the field and Steve asked Terry and crew to boldly go where credit unions rarely venture to go: head to head with the competition, in this case, with their industry-leading Cash Back Checking account.

The spot takes a humorous approach to the way most Rewards programs place ridiculous limitations on their customers. Standing on their heads, jumping through flaming hoops and taking a punch from an automated “Rewardz” ATM, doesn’t cut it when DHCU simply pays cash back on every transaction with Cash Back Checking. It’s OK to laugh at the competition when you have something this good.

The secondary message is that anyone within 50 miles of a DHCU location can take this open invitation to “Just swipe your card – and get paid”. Watch for the new spot on QC media. Then get out there and join.

DES MOINES SEED COMPANY IS FOR THE BIRDS

04|13|14

Since 1944, Des Moines Seed Company (DMC) has been calling birds to dinner. Customers from all over North America feed their cage and wild birds with premium quality products from DSC. But their customers didn’t all appreciate the music they would hear on hold when they called to order. Some got downright cranky and hung up! Something had to be done.

So the boss had new VP Chris Beach initiate a search for someone who could make the on hold experience a whole lot better. Turns out, they heard Terry’s voice on a customer’s message and that was it. Chris called Terry and the first of four new MOH programs is informing callers with great music and highly creative messaging. Complaints about the old music are gone. We’re even recruiting a few hungry birds to sing along. The boss is happy. Customers are happy. The birds are happy. It’s all music to our ears.

RADIO FOR CORRECT TRUCK & TRAILER

02|03|14

Correct Truck & Trailer sells used trucks in Davenport Iowa. The big ones. They’re right on I-80 and business is booming. Owner John Mravinac collaborated with TLC to tell the CT & T story trucker-style in a 60 second radio spot. The result is a fast talking fact-loaded spot that crams a whole lot of information into a short space. By having the character voice deliver the lines of both main characters to the listener, it leads up to the story teller making an after hours call and still getting through. It’s a fun spot and a great new satisfied client. You can hear the spot in our Radio section here on the TLC web site.
