Terry is all about jingles, radio spots, on hold messaging and other media projects. But with the completion of The Gypsy Was Right, it seemed appropriate to send it along to Bob Dorr, who recently retired from his Blue Band, but is still producing his radio program for Iowa Public Radio. His response to the track was immediate so we hope his audience responds well to the song. It was produced by Jeffrey Loder and includes some all star support Chris Noth on slide guitar, 4 time Emmy winner Leonard Wolf on B3 organ and piano. Jeff rounded it out with the bass and drums with Terry on the lead vocal.

‘The Gypsy Was Right’

When you hear Courtesy Car City’s familiar “Whatever it Takes, We’ll Do it!” or “The Great Mississippi Valley Fair” you may sing right along with; “See ya there!” (it’s not actually part of the original recording).

The same goes for Rock Valley Physical Therapy, – Making Better Lives, Mel Foster – Making it Happen and Key Auto Mall’s We’re the Best of em All. There are a couple hundred others. Too many to list here.

These musical memes have a common thread; Terry Loder.

If you’re like most Quad Citizens, you never knew all these musical signatures were the work of a local music maker. The list is much too long to list here. But the most common reaction to their local roots is “Man, I thought those were made in Chicago, New York, Minneapolis or LA.” Nope: Terry is QCA all the way.

You can hear his work for Arnold Motor Supply – We Keep You Movin, US Adventure RV – Runnin’ Free; Monson Truck & Trailer – Let Monson Get You Runnin’, Tempo Marine and Sport – We’re All About Fun and many more.

You’ll find more of Terry’s most recent local and national productions under Jingles on this web site. Stronger branding is our goal. Especially the musical ones you can’t get out of your head.

Our first few months have brought us fabulous new clients for the message on hold part of our business. As we were taking a call from a new client today, it seemed appropriate to get a rough idea of new clients for that service. Without dropping names, here’s what we’ve done since we opened our doors.

Iowa and Illinois:
Web based Dental Service
National Automotive company
National parts distributor
Plumbing Heating and AC company
National traffic signal manufacturer
Truck Sales & Service
Car Dealer
Large Electrical services firm
Farm Implement Co
Another Truck Sales/Service
Construction Company
Orthodontics Office
Farm Implement Sales & Service
Formal Wear Rentals

Other States:
Industrial Supplies – Las Vegas
Plumbing Supplies –California
Plastics/Rubber Company – Connecticut.

All of these and I few we probably left out since day one in August! You could say TLC has been very busy on the phone. There are several more in the hopper. So, it looks like our position in the message on hold area is secure. And we’re very proud of these new additions to our list of phone clients.
